Terms and Conditions for SL Shop Vendors
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using this website and the Mobile App mobile application (the “Marketplace”) operated by SL Shop (“us", "we", or "our").
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms then you may not access the Marketplace.
1.Selling
If you wish to sell any product or service through the Marketplace(“Selling”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Products including, without limitation, your company name, tax identification number, location of your store, sale plan, and picture of your products.
2.Content
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content").You are responsible for the content you provide on your Seller Marketplace.
3.Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
4.The Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between SL Shop (“Marketplace) and the Vendors ("Vendors") who sell products or services on the Platform.
5.Acceptance of Terms
By registering as a Vendor on the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not register or use the Platform.
6.Vendor Registration
Vendors must complete the registration process, providing accurate and up-to-date information. The Platform reserves the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at its discretion.
7.Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are responsible for:
- Listing accurate product descriptions, prices, and availability.
- Ensuring that products comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Managing inventory and fulfilling orders in a timely manner.
- Responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
8.Fees and Payments
Vendors may be subject to fees for using the Platform, including listing fees, transaction fees, or subscription fees. Payment terms will be outlined in the Vendor Dashboard. The Platform will facilitate payment processing but is not responsible for any financial disputes between Vendors and customers.
9.Intellectual Property
Vendors retain ownership of their intellectual property rights in the products they sell. However, by listing products on the Platform, Vendors grant the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote those products.
10.Compliance with Laws
Vendors must comply with all the laws of Tanzania applicable to their business activities and the products they sell.
11.Indemnification
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their products, listings, or violation of these Terms.
12.Termination
The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Vendor’s account for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms.
13.Limitation of Liability
The Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or the Vendor’s products.
14.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tanzania.
15.Amendments
The Platform may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Vendors will be notified of changes, and continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of the new Terms.
